<p><p><b>Experience :</b> 6+ Years<br/><br/><b>Work Mode :</b> Remote<br/><br/><b>Work Type :</b> Contract<br/><br/><b>Shift Timings :</b> 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM<br/><br/><b>Availability :</b> Immediate<br/><br/>Freelancers may also apply<br/><br/><b>About the Role :</b><br/><br/>We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Basis Administrator to join our team.<br/><br/> You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our SAP landscape, ensuring its stability, performance, and security.<br/><br/> You will play a critical role in supporting our business operations by providing reliable and efficient SAP system administration.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.)<br/><br/>- Perform system copies, upgrades, and migrations.<br/><br/>- Manage user accounts, authorizations, and security profiles.<br/><br/>- Monitor system performance and identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.<br/><br/>- Perform system health checks and proactive maintenance.<br/><br/>- Manage and configure SAP transports.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP system issues.<br/><br/>- Perform basic database administration tasks (e.g., backups, restores, monitoring).<br/><br/>- Collaborate with database administrators on complex database issues.<br/><br/><b>Operating System Administration (if applicable) :</b><br/><br/>- Administer the underlying operating systems (Linux, Windows) on which SAP systems run.<br/><br/>- Manage file systems, user accounts, and permissions.<br/><br/>- Perform system backups and recovery.<br/><br/>- Work closely with other IT teams (e.g., developers, network administrators) to ensure smooth operation of SAP systems.<br/><br/>- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.<br/><br/>- Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support.<br/><br/><b>Qualifications :</b><br/><br/><b>Essential :</b><br/><br/>- 6+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator.<br/><br/>- In-depth knowledge of SAP architecture and components.<br/><br/>- Experience with SAP system installation, configuration, and maintenance.<br/><br/>- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<br/><br/>- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
