<p><p><b>Primary Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Architect, design, and develop scalable server-side applications using Node.js.<br/><br/>- Lead the backend development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.<br/><br/>- Build RESTful and GraphQL APIs with a strong focus on security, performance, and scalability.<br/><br/>- Integrate third-party services, databases, and internal systems efficiently.<br/><br/>- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality and adherence to best practices.<br/><br/>- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot and optimize performance bottlenecks in high-load production environments.<br/><br/>- Contribute to DevOps initiatives, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment automation.<br/><br/>- Stay updated on emerging backend technologies and recommend improvements in processes and tech stacks.<br/><br/><b>Technical Requirements :</b><br/><br/>- Strong expertise in Node.js, Express.js, and REST API development.<br/><br/>- Solid experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other relational and NoSQL databases.<br/><br/>- Experience with GraphQL and API gateway patterns is a plus.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with Microservices Architecture, event-driven systems, and message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).<br/><br/>- Hands-on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.<br/><br/>- Deep understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT).<br/><br/>- Strong grasp of asynchronous programming, error handling, and memory management in Node.js.<br/><br/>- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.<br/><br/>- Proficient in Git and experienced in working with Agile/Scrum teams.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for backend hosting and serverless functions.<br/><br/><b>Experience : </b><br/><br/>- Minimum Years of Experience : 4+ years<br/><br/>- Relevant Industry Experience : 4+ years in backend development, with at least 3+ years in Node.js<br/><br/>- Client Communication Required : Yes</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
