<p><p><b>Description :</b><br/><br/></p><p>About the job :<br/><br/>- Deep understanding of the overall Quality Assurance process.<br/><br/>- Good communication skills - Written and verbal to understand the current application and working with the Product Manager, Technology Manager, developers and other QA engineers to understand the current and future testing needs of the application.<br/><br/>- Willingness to learn the functional aspects of the application to ensure test cases are domain-oriented and maximum test coverage is attained using minimum no of test cases.<br/><br/>- Experience in defining best practices and providing technical mentorship to other members of the QA team.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of Smoke, Sanity, regression testing, Integration testing and UAT Testing.<br/><br/>- Good experience in building test cases for new features.<br/><br/>- The ability to build good working relationships within the team by communicating clearly, both verbally and in writing.<br/><br/>- Experience and understanding of Agile Development methodologies especially Scrum.<br/><br/>- Fast learner, open to learning new technologies when needed.<br/><br/><b>Requirements :</b><br/><br/>- Technical abilities showcasing a breadth and depth of technical knowledge :<br/><br/>- Good understanding of how modern web apps are architectured with Java and Javascript driving the application flow and APIs as the backend.<br/><br/>- Good experience in building test strategies and writing good test cases.<br/><br/>- Good understanding of how modern test automation projects are developed that include not only Selenium/Webdriver based web testing but also the experience of using Javascript for testing AngularJS and React-based web applications using Protractor.<br/>JS<br/><br/>- Experience in API testing.<br/><br/>- Experience in performance testing through JMeter or any other performance testing tool.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of security testing through Burp Suite will be a plus<br/><br/>Morningstar is an equal opportunity employer.<br/><br/>If you receive and accept an offer from us, we require that personal and any related investments be disclosed confidentiality to our Compliance team (days vary by region).<br/><br/>These investments will be reviewed to ensure they meet Code of Ethics requirements.<br/><br/>If any conflicts of interest are identified, then you will be required to liquidate those holdings immediately.<br/><br/>In addition, dependent on your department and location of work certain employee accounts must be held with an approved broker (for example all, U.S employee accounts).<br/><br/>If this applies and your account(s) are not with an approved broker, you will be required to move your holdings to an approved broker.<br/><br/>Morningstar's hybrid work environment gives you the opportunity to collaborate in-person each week as we've found that we're at our best when we're purposely together on a regular basis.<br/><br/>In most of our locations, our hybrid work model is four days in-office each week.<br/><br/>A range of other benefits are also available to enhance flexibility as needs change.<br/><br/>No matter where you are, you'll have tools and resources to engage meaningfully with your global colleagues.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
