Software Engineer, Mobile Solutions<br/><br/><b>Location:</b> Vashi, Navi Mumbai<br/><br/><b>Shift:</b> is a leading provider of independent investment research in North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia.</p><p><br/></p><p>We offer a wide variety of products and solutions that serve market participants of all kinds, including individual and institutional investors in public and private capital markets, financial advisors, asset managers, retirement plan providers and sponsors, and issuers of securities.
</p><p><br/></p><p>Morningstar India has been a Great Place to Work-certified company for the past eight consecutive Design, analyse, develop, document, test and troubleshoot application logic and product, fully functional mobile applications.<br/><br/>- Develop mobile applications using React Native with high quality.<br/><br/>- Good to have the knowledge to be involved in creating reusable, common components for different products.<br/><br/>- Technically sound & enforce best practices on mobile.<br/><br/>- Work with different teams to resolve dependencies.<br/><br/>- Unit Testing, Functional/System Integration Testing<br/><br/>- Work closely with Mobile Application developers and deliver end-to-end solutions in a timely manner with a focus on quality.<br/><br/>- Support and maintain mobile applications that are in production.<br/><br/>- Participate in technical design and code reviews<br/><br/>- Work on architectural concerns and non-functional requirements.<br/><br/>- Follow agile principles and the Scrum 2+ years of experience in analysis, design, coding and implementation<br/><br/>- Hands-on React Native experience in developing cross-platform mobile applications for both iOS and Android.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience in Redux.<br/><br/>- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript.<br/><br/>- Hands-on knowledge in React and should be familiar with React lifecycle methods and hooks.<br/><br/>- Should have extensive experience in REST API Development and Testing.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience in 3rd party tool integration / Integration with native libraries.<br/><br/>- Should have knowledge of development tools such as XCode, Android Studio, Gradle, Interface Builder and iPhone/Android SDKs.<br/><br/>- Experience working with and applying Design patterns to solve problems<br/><br/>- Good knowledge of Mobile app debugging.<br/><br/>- Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/>- Goal-oriented individual with excellent time management skills.<br/><br/>- Working experience in Agile environment<br/><br/>- Experience in following secure code practices, writing unit testing and implementing DevOps.<br/><br/>- Flexible in working under changing and different work settings.<br/><br/>- Morningstar is an equal opportunity employer</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
