</p><p><br/></p><p>As a core participant of your engineering team, youll work with product managers and designers to refine requirements, estimate engineering efforts, design and code your changes, build automated tests for your changes, push your code to production, and provide excellent support for your high quality applications.

You need to be dynamic, collaborative, and curious as we build new experiences, improve existing products, and develop distributed systems powering the world to be financially strong.<br/><br/>We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.<br/><br/>With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.<br/><br/><b>Job Duties :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Help us build and maintain a world-class technology system so we can achieve our mission of making the world financially strong.<br/><br/>- Write product or system development code, owning assignments from design through coding, testing, and deployment.<br/><br/>- Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select and implement design patterns and technologies.<br/><br/>- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).<br/><br/>- Encourage clean code and excellent coding practices by conducting thoughtful code reviews.<br/><br/>- Actively participate in system architecture discussions and technical design reviews to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.<br/><br/>- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to meet and exceed customer needs in the simplest possible ways.<br/><br/>- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on infrastructure, network, or service operations and quality.<br/><br/>- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.<br/><br/>- Demonstrate empathy for the client perspective and champion solutions that reduce (client) developer friction.<br/><br/><b>Basic Job Requirements :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.<br/><br/>- 5+ years experience with software development in one or more programming languages with data structures or algorithms preferred.<br/><br/>- Experience working with relational databases or data warehouses<br/><br/>- Ruby on Rails experience, with a solid understanding of object oriented programming principles.<br/><br/>- Interest and aptitude in delivering presentations and communicating across a variety of media with internal and external audiences is highly desirable.<br/><br/><b>Advanced Job Requirements (not required) :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Masters Degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.<br/><br/>- React, JavaScript/TypeScript and/or general frontend experience is a plus but not required.<br/><br/>- Experience with Google Cloud Platform is a plus but not required.<br/><br/><b>Work Environment :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>In this role, a significant aspect of the job involves working in the office for a standard 40-hour workweek.
