The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in API-led design, Mulesoft architecture, and backend integration patterns, with a proven ability to translate high-level architecture into scalable, secure, and resilient technical solutions.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Design and implement Mulesoft-based backend solutions aligned with enterprise architectural principles.<br/><br/></p><p>- Translate business and solution architecture requirements into detailed API-specific technical designs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and maintain API specifications using RAML and enforce API governance standards.<br/><br/></p><p>- Leverage DataWeave for data transformation, enrichment, and complex mappings.<br/><br/></p><p>- Define and implement backend system integration patterns, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.<br/><br/></p><p>- Apply security standards including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and TLS across all API designs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, developers, DevOps, QA) to ensure seamless delivery.<br/><br/></p><p>- Conduct design reviews, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to best practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Optimize APIs for resilience, performance, and fault tolerance in production environments.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- 8+ years of experience in backend/API design and development, with at least 3+ years on Mulesoft.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of Mulesoft architectural principles and API-led connectivity approach.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on expertise in RAML, DataWeave, and API specification standards.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in backend system integration with enterprise systems/databases.<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid understanding of security protocols (OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience designing for high availability, scalability, and performance optimization.<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, API monitoring, and logging tools is a plus.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent problem-solving, design thinking, and communication skills.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
