<p><p><b>Description :</b><br/><br/></p><p>Home Senior Automation Lead Playwright with TypeScript.<br/><br/>Senior Automation Lead Playwright with TypeScript.<br/><br/></p><p>Experience : 8 + Years.<br/><br/>Location : Hyderabad.<br/><br/><b>Role Overview :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>We are seeking an Sr Automation engineer/Lead with deep expertise in Playwright with TypeScript to lead the automation strategy, framework design, and implementation for our projects.<br/><br/>The candidate will define automation best practices, guide the team, and ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable test automation solutions.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Lead the design and implementation of automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.<br/><br/>- Define automation strategy, standards, and best practices for functional, regression, and integration testing.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with QA, Development, and Product teams to identify automation opportunities and design robust solutions.<br/><br/>- Architect scalable and maintainable test automation solutions integrated with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).<br/><br/>- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level automation engineers in framework development and test script implementation.<br/><br/>- Perform code reviews and enforce coding and automation quality standards.<br/><br/>- Analyze automation coverage, identify gaps, and optimize test strategy.<br/><br/>- Ensure proper integration of API, UI, and end-to-end test scenarios.<br/><br/>- Drive continuous improvement in test automation efficiency, reliability, and reporting.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Experience :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- 8+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 to 4 years in automation leadership/architect role.<br/><br/>- Strong expertise in Playwright with TypeScript.<br/><br/>- Deep knowledge of testing frameworks, test design patterns, and automation architecture.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.<br/><br/>- Excellent mentoring and team leadership skills.<br/><br/>- Experience with API testing and salesforce testing.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of test management tools and reporting dashboards.<br/><br/><b>Good to Have :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).<br/><br/>- Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Gherkin).<br/><br/>- Experience in performance testing and non-functional testing automation.<br/><br/><b>Key Attributes :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Strong communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams.<br/><br/>- Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving skills.<br/><br/>- Ability to drive automation initiatives independently and influence teams.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
