<p><p><b>Position:</b> Government Sales Manager<br/><br/><b>Experience:</b> 8+ years<br/><br/><b>Company:</b> Netweb Technologies<br/><br/><b>Job Summary</b><br/><br/>We are seeking a proactive and driven Government Sales Manager with over 8 years of experience in selling computer hardware solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling servers, workstations, storage, and HPC Clusters to government, educational, and research organizations.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong focus on building and maintaining key client relationships, expanding existing accounts, and managing all facets of the sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation.<br/><br/><b>Key Sales & Lead Generation:</b> Develop and execute strategic sales goals.

You will be responsible for qualifying leads and creating target lists of enterprise and data center accounts within the government and public sector.<br/><br/><b>Client Relationship Management:</b> Actively seek out and engage with potential customers through cold calling and targeted follow-up visits.

You will be instrumental in developing new customer relationships and maintaining and expanding existing client accounts to ensure long-term retention and growth.<br/><br/><b>Sales Operations & Negotiation:</b> Manage all day-to-day sales operations, including negotiating sales pricing, monitoring orders, facilitating credit issues, and handling sales returns.<br/><br/><b>Market Engagement:</b> Participate in various marketing activities, such as trade shows, to generate new leads and strategically position Netweb Technologies' products and services in the market.<br/><br/><b>Documentation & Reporting:</b> Meticulously track all sales activities and opportunities to ensure a robust pipeline and provide regular reports to management.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications</b><br/><br/>- 8+ years of experience in selling computer hardware solutions, including servers, workstations, storage, and HPC Clusters.<br/><br/>- A successful track record of cold calling and following up with key decision-makers.<br/><br/>- Strong team player with prior experience selling technology into corporate or government accounts.<br/><br/>- Demonstrated ability in pre-call planning, opportunity qualification, objection handling, and time and territory management.<br/><br/>- Strong persuasive and negotiating skills with the ability to manage various types of contracts.<br/><br/>- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.<br/><br/>- The ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks proactively.</p><br/></p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
