<p><p><b>About The Job : </b><br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Modify network configurations and architecture to align with certification requirements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Guide the team on maintaining efficient network operations while adhering to certification standards.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform network administration and engineering tasks on routers, switches, and other hardware network products.<br/><br/></p><p>- Support daily network operations, implementing necessary changes to maintain optimal network performance.<br/><br/></p><p>- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortinet Firewalls, Forti Switches, and Forti Wireless Access Points (WAP).<br/><br/></p><p>- Manage and troubleshoot routing, firewall, and switching systems with a strong focus on network security.<br/><br/></p><p>- Diagnose and resolve firewall-related issues, with expertise in routing protocols, particularly OSPF.<br/><br/></p><p>- Stay updated with industry knowledge on networking, telecommunications, VoIP, LAN/WAN, and TCP/IP administration.<br/><br/></p><p>- Address network performance issues such as connectivity, bandwidth, and latency.<br/><br/></p><p>- Plan and execute device backups, updates, upgrades, patches, and vulnerability remediation to ensure a secure and efficient network.<br/><br/></p><p>- Manage severe or crisis incidents, coordinating with vendors and OEMs to ensure a smooth resolution.<br/><br/></p><p>- Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, troubleshooting processes, and best practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in on-call rotations to handle critical network incidents and minimize downtime.<br/><br/></p><p>- Set up networks from initial configuration (day 0) to operational status (day 1), making necessary adjustments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Conduct network testing using L3 protocols, specifically BGP and OSPF.<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement and manage Radius, AAA, and TACACS+ protocols.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure secure network operations through IPSec configurations.<br/><br/></p><p>- 5+ years of experience in managing large scale Network.<br/><br/></p><p>- Use and contribute to procedures and tools to develop and safely execute network changes.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop solutions for support team members to act on network failure conditions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with network vendor technical account team and quality assurance team to drive bug resolution and assist with qualification of new firmware and/or operating systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Manage and Perform Firmware upgrades and configuration refreshes.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of protocols and services such as MPLS, BGP/OSPF/IS-IS, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, VxLAN and EVPN.<br/><br/></p><p>- Extensive experience with scripting or automation and data center design Python preferred but must demonstrate expertise in scripting or compiled language.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and SSL.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with network monitoring and telemetry solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working in a large ISP or cloud provider environment<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working in a network operations role.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
