<p><p><b>Position : </b> Network Monitoring Engineer<br/><br/><b>Experience : </b> 2+ years<br/><br/><b>Location : </b> Hinjawadi, Pune<br/><br/><b>Shift Timings : </b> This is a shift-based role.</p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities : Implementation and Maintenance : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Monitor network performance to ensure stability, security, and scalability.<br/><br/></p><p>- Troubleshoot network-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional Design and Architecture : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Design and implement LAN, WAN, and wireless network architectures, including routing protocols, segmentation, and redundancy Configuration and Management : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Install, configure, and manage network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless controllers, and access Monitoring and Troubleshooting : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Utilize NMS/EMS tools to monitor network performance, detect outages, and resolve connectivity issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Customize monitoring dashboards, alerts, and notifications to meet operational use cases and SLA requirements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Enable SNMP monitoring for network devices, set up NetFlow and Syslog configurations, and maintain inventory of all network Planning : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Analyze traffic patterns to forecast future network requirements and plan and Reporting : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configuration guides, and incident and Incident Management : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Manage and report incidents using ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM tools, integrating them with monitoring platforms as Skills and Qualifications : </b></p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Strong understanding of network monitoring protocols, including SNMP and NetFlow.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, WLANs, and SD-WANs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Expertise in working with networking devices from OEMs like Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, HPE, Fortinet, and Palo Alto.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of network security tools, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with network automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Ansible) is a plus.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Prior experience as a network Qualifications : </b></p><p><br/></p>- BE/BTech/MCA degree.<br/><br/></p><p>- CCNA/CCNP Certification.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in IT network device administration.<br/><br/></p><p>- In-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP OSI model.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with SNMP, NetFlow, and IT monitoring tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Expertise in Routing, Switching, and WLAN.</p><p><br/></p><p>Join and become a part of a dynamic team that drives innovation in IT operations and digital transformation.
