<p><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performing RESTful APIs using Node.js.<br/><br/>- Utilize TypeScript in backend development for enhanced code quality, maintainability, and scalability.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.<br/><br/>- Perform performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring to ensure application efficiency and reliability.<br/><br/>- Implement GraphQL APIs and optimize them for performance and usability.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a distributed services ecosystem.<br/><br/>- Integrate services with API gateways such as 3Scale.<br/><br/>- Ensure security best practices, including implementing token-based authentication (REST, JWT, OAuth).<br/><br/>- Work with task/message queue systems like AWS SQS, Azure Queue, Pushpin, and Kafka.<br/><br/>- Follow Agile methodologies and participate actively in sprint planning and review Skills :</b></p><br/>- Minimum 5 years of hands-on coding experience in Node.js, JavaScript, and databases.<br/><br/>- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in TypeScript.<br/><br/>- Strong expertise in building scalable and maintainable RESTful APIs.<br/><br/>- Practical experience with GraphQL for API development.<br/><br/>- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and active involvement in troubleshooting distributed applications.<br/><br/>- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with API gateway tools such as 3Scale.<br/><br/>- In-depth understanding of SSO and authentication methods including JWT and OAuth.<br/><br/>- Experience with task/message queues: AWS, Azure, Pushpin, Kafka, etc.<br/><br/><b>Functional Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Adheres to best practices in coding, security, unit testing, and documentation.<br/><br/>- Experience working in Agile environments, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.<br/><br/>- Prior experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Fintech domains in an enterprise setting is preferred.<br/><br/>- Ensure high-quality technical and application architecture across the software development lifecycle.<br/><br/>- Conduct effective technology research and benchmarking to adopt best-in-class tools and methodologies.<br/><br/><b>Educational Qualification :</b><br/><br/>- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
