<p>Job Summary : <br/><br/>We are looking for a talented Software Engineer with hands-on experience in Quarkus and Red Hat Fuse to design, develop, and maintain integration solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Java, experience with Kafka-based event streaming, RESTful APIs, relational databases, and CI/CD pipelines deployed on OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
This role requires a developer who is passionate about building robust microservices and integration systems in a cloud-native environment.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities : <br/><br/>- Design and develop scalable microservices using Quarkus framework.<br/><br/>- Build and maintain integration flows and APIs leveraging Red Hat Fuse (Apache Camel) for enterprise integration patterns.<br/><br/>- Develop and consume RESTful web services and APIs.<br/><br/>- Design, implement, and optimize Kafka producers and consumers for real-time data streaming and event-driven architecture.<br/><br/>- Write efficient, well-documented, and testable Java code adhering to best practices.<br/><br/>- Work with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) including schema design, queries, and performance tuning.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.<br/><br/>- Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) including containerization best practices (Docker).<br/><br/>- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on stability and performance.<br/><br/>- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.<br/><br/>Required Skills & Experience : <br/><br/>- Strong experience with Java (Java 8 or above) and the Quarkus framework.<br/><br/>- Expertise in Red Hat Fuse (or Apache Camel) for integration development.<br/><br/>- Proficient in designing and consuming REST APIs.<br/><br/>- Experience with Kafka for event-driven and streaming solutions.<br/><br/>- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.<br/><br/>- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and automated deployment.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience deploying applications to OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).<br/><br/>- Working knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with microservices architecture, cloud-native development, and agile methodologies.<br/><br/>- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.<br/><br/>- Good communication and documentation skills.<br/><br/>Preferred Qualifications : <br/><br/>- Experience should be between 4-8 yrs<br/><br/>- Experience with messaging systems like Kafka<br/><br/>- Knowledge of other Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.<br/><br/>- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.<br/><br/>- Understanding of security best practices in microservices and API development.<br/><br/>- Cloud platform experience is a plus.<br/><br/>Education : <br/><br/>- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
