<p>Role Overview : <br/><br/>As an Odoo Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Odoo modules and applications to meet the growing needs of our business.
Your expertise in Odoo's framework will play a key role in improving operational efficiency and ensuring the scalability of our technology solutions.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities :<br/><br/>- Design, develop, and implement Odoo modules based on business requirements.<br/><br/>- Customize existing Odoo modules and integrate third-party applications into the Odoo environment.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the Odoo system.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine business processes and deliver technical solutions.<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain custom workflows, reports, and dashboards in Odoo.<br/><br/>- Work on Odoo version upgrades and ensure smooth migration of data and processes.<br/><br/>- Optimize the performance of the Odoo system and resolve bottlenecks.<br/><br/>- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure a high level of code quality and system reliability.<br/><br/>- Provide technical support and documentation for ongoing system enhancements.<br/><br/>- Keep up-to-date with the latest Odoo releases, features, and best practices.<br/><br/>Requirements :<br/><br/>- Experience : 4+ years of hands-on experience working with Odoo development (version 17 or above).<br/><br/>Technical Skills :<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, XML, and JavaScript.<br/><br/>- Expertise in Odoo frameworks, Odoo module development, and API integrations.<br/><br/>- Solid experience with Odoo customization, including reports, workflows, and security rules.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with Odoo's multi-company, multi-currency configurations is a plus.<br/><br/>- Experience with Odoo's ORM and data modeling.<br/><br/>Other Skills :<br/><br/>- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.<br/><br/>- Experience with third-party integrations (e.g., payment gateways, CRM systems, etc.).<br/><br/>- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and follow coding best practices.<br/><br/>- Good understanding of Agile development processes.<br/><br/>- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working in a team-oriented environment.<br/><br/>Preferred Qualifications :<br/><br/>- Odoo certifications are a plus.<br/><br/>- Experience in developing Odoo modules for inventory, sales, finance, HR, or manufacturing domains.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
