Who will you be working with?

The Locomotive NPI Controls team owns the control architecture and embedded software requirement specification for the engine and electric drivetrain control system integration and leads the design and implementation of the application control logic, diagnostics, and protections to maximize product performance, reliability, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

You will set, communicate, and execute objectives for self and others, and be accountable for project deliverables aligned with business outcomes.

How will you make a difference?

The Locomotive NPI Control Applications Engineering Technical Leader will lead and direct control system enhancements and new feature development for Wabtec’s family of diesel electric, dual fuel, and hybrid diesel-battery locomotives, as well as marine and stationary engine systems.

You will work to guide a dynamic team to define control strategy requirements and concepts, design and implement solutions, perform control system calibration and validation, and support issue resolution for both New Technology and New Product Introduction initiatives.
