<p><u><b>About the Role</b></u>:<br/><br/>As a User Researcher, you will partner with cross-functional teams-designers, product managers, engineers, data scientists, and marketers-to deeply understand our users' needs and behaviors.
Your research will directly shape product strategy, design, and execution, ensuring intuitive, accessible, and seamless Design and execute research studies: Conduct qualitative (field observations, interviews, usability testing) and quantitative (surveys, metrics analysis) research across current and future products.<br/><br/>- Uncover opportunities: Identify unmet needs and inform product vision, roadmap, and strategy through creative research methods and co-design sessions.<br/><br/>- Collaborate cross-functionally: Ensure research insights are integrated into design, product, and business decisions, providing a holistic view of our users.<br/><br/>- Communicate insights effectively: Share findings through impactful storytelling-presentations, reports, and workshops-that drive action.<br/><br/>- Adapt methodologies: Innovate and tailor research approaches to meet the fast-paced demands of product development.<br/><br/>- Mentor & guide: Support and coach fellow stakeholders, fostering a culture of empathy and user-centric design across the organization.<br/><br/><b 4+ years of experience in the technology industry conducting User research, with a proven track record of driving tangible outcomes with product and design teams.<br/><br/>- Educational qualification that is either an advanced degree in Psychology, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology, Social sciences or related field, with significant industry experience.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of research methodologies, their pros/ cons and their application during different phases of product development.<br/><br/>- Ability to quickly and effectively present research results.<br/><br/>- Ability to perform all research-related tasks including research, planning, evaluating, and iteration.<br/><br/>- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and act as a strategic partner in product and design decisions.<br/><br/>- Experience with remote testing tools.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Skills</b><br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with quantitative research involving inferential statistics, metric analysis.<br/><br/>- Designing user experiences, knowledge of UI design principles, ability to prototype.<br/><br/>- Ability to fluently communicate in multiple Indian languages and English.<br/><br/>- Previous experience identifying, onboarding, and managing external research, translation, transcription, and tools vendors.</p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
