<p><p><b>Job Summary :</b> </p><p><br/></p><p>We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hands-on OpenText Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team.<br/><br/> The ideal candidate will have a deep, hands-on understanding of the OpenText Content Server / xECM platform and its ecosystem.<br/><br/> This role requires a blend of technical expertise, architectural insight, and strong communication skills to support large-scale enterprise implementations.<br/><br/> You will be a key player in a global, agile team, working closely with both onsite and offshore colleagues to design, develop, and maintain our critical OpenText Responsibilities Server / xECM Architecture & Administration :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Content Server / xECM.<br/><br/></p><p>- Architect, deploy, and administer complex OpenText Content Server / xECM environments for large-scale enterprise use.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Perform system configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning to ensure stability and optimal operation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Manage upgrades, patches, and hotfixes for the OpenText Development & Integration :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Design and develop robust Content Server solutions using WebReports, Workflows, and custom scripts to meet business requirements for automation and efficiency.<br/><br/></p><p>- Create and optimize intricate Content Server workflows for various business processes.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform database-level integrations, including designing and writing SQL queries, functions, and managing data exchange with external systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Integrate Content Server / xECM with leading enterprise applications using xECM widgets for a seamless user & System Expertise :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Possess a deep understanding of the Content Server database schema to inform solution design and development.<br/><br/></p><p>- Be proficient in PostgreSQL for query development, performance analysis, and data management.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work with the business team to perform CIS modeling and business analysis, defining and implementing standard file plans and metadata Team Collaboration (Onsite-Offshore Model) :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Collaborate effectively with a geographically distributed team (on-site and offshore).<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.</p><br/></p><p>- Clearly articulate technical designs and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers in the team.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure smooth handover of work and knowledge transfer between teams across different time Skills and Experience :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Solid experience as a Content Server / xECM Architect & System Administrator for enterprise-level implementations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven expertise in WebReports Design & Development for complex automation and reporting solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong background in Workflow Design & Implementation within OpenText Content Server.<br/><br/></p><p>- Deep understanding of the Content Server Data Model and database schema.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in PostgreSQL Development, including writing advanced SQL queries and functions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with Database-Level Integrations for data exchange with external systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with xECM Widget Application Integration.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong CIS Modeling & Business Analysis skills, with the ability to define file plans and metadata based on business needs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Working knowledge of Linux systems, specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), as it pertains to Content Server deployments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with key AWS Cloud Services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS) in the context of OpenText Qualifications :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p>- OpenText certifications (e.g., OpenText Certified Professional).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with other OpenText products (e.g., Brava!, Blazon, Archive Center).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for OpenText deployments.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
