<p><p><b>Description : </b><br/><br/><b>Years of Experience : </b> 10-12 Years<br/><br/><b>Mandatory Skills : </b> OAF, JSP, Core JAVA, Web Services, REST APIs, Oracle EBS(Basics)<br/><br/><b>Job Summary : </b><br/><br/>We are seeking an experienced Oracle Applications Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), and RICE components.
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Oracle APIs, OAF development, and EBS modules such as Order to Cash (O2C) and Procure to Pay (P2P).
The role involves designing, developing, customizing, and deploying Oracle applications, while ensuring performance, scalability, and alignment with business requirements.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/><b>Oracle OAF Development :</b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, and customize OAF pages and deploy them across various Oracle instances.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform OAF personalization, customization, and extensions for Controller (CO), View Object (VO), and Entity Object (EO).<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and manage application components such as Application Modules (AM), View Links, Page Layouts, LOVs (List of Values) including dependent and external LOVs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement and optimize PPR (Partial Page Rendering), tab menus, data export functionality, and integrate OAF pages with other tools and systems.<br/><br/><b>Oracle EBS & RICE Components : </b><br/><br/>- Work extensively with Oracle EBS R11/R12 data models across Finance, HR, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing modules.<br/><br/></p><p>- Design and develop RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions).<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and optimize PL/SQL scripts, packages, procedures, and triggers for data integration </p><p>and processing.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform data mapping, conversions, interfaces, and validations.<br/><br/><b>Technical Expertise : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Demonstrate expert-level understanding of Oracle Applications APIs and database architecture.<br/><br/></p><p>- Apply database optimization techniques to enhance performance and scalability.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work on UNIX shell scripting to automate tasks and support integrations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Create and maintain technical documentation and test cases following AIM & Process :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements </p><p>into technical specifications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.<br/><br/></p><p>- Follow agile methodologies and software development best practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure quality assurance, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards and design principles.<br/><br/></p><p>- Use version control tools such as Git or SharePoint for source code management and collaboration.<br/><br/><p><b>Additional (Good-to-Have) Skills : </b></p><p><br/>- Working knowledge of Oracle ADF (Application Development Framework).</p><br/></p><p>- Understanding of performance engineering and security best practices in Oracle environments.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.<br/><br/></p><p>- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Applications (OAF, EBS R12).<br/><br/></p><p>- Expertise in Core PL/SQL, OAF customization, and API development.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of O2C, P2P, and Finance modules within EBS.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven experience in developing RICE components and working with UNIX/Shell scripting.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and dynamic environments.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
