<p><p><b>About the Role : <br/></b><br/>We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable OCI DBA (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Database Administrator) with strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Applications.<br/><br/>The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the OCI environment, performing administrative tasks, and ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the databases and Fusion applications.<br/><br/>You will play a key role in system monitoring, identity management, and user/role administration within OCI.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/><b>Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administration : </b><br/><br/>Perform OCI administrative tasks including : <br/><br/></p><p>- Creating and managing users, roles, groups, and policies<br/><br/></p><p>- Resource provisioning and configuration (compute, storage, networking)<br/><br/></p><p>- Monitoring OCI services and setting up system alerts using OCI tools and dashboards<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement security best practices in OCI, including IAM policies and multi-factor authentication<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform system refresh activities including environment clones and backup/restore procedures<br/><br/></p><p>- Work with OCI native services (Object Storage, Block Volume, VCN, etc.) to support application and database requirements<br/><br/></p><p>- Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to OCI resources and service limits<br/><br/><b>Fusion Applications Support : </b><br/><br/>- Provide operational support for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (such as Financials, SCM, HCM, etc.)<br/><br/>- Monitor application health and performance and proactively identify and resolve issues<br/><br/></p><p>- Work on environment refreshes, patching, and user access control in Fusion Applications<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with application teams and business stakeholders to ensure platform stability and security<br/><br/></p><p>- Assist in incident, problem, and change management processes for Fusion environments<br/><br/><b>Required Skills and Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- 2.55 years of experience as OCI Administrator / DBA, preferably supporting Oracle Fusion Applications<br/><br/>Hands-on experience in : <br/><br/></p><p>- OCI console and CLI<br/><br/></p><p>- Creating and managing users, groups, and roles in OCI IAM<br/><br/></p><p>- System monitoring, alert configurations, and responding to incidents<br/><br/></p><p>- Managing OCI compute instances, storage, and network resources<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of Fusion Applications architecture and related cloud infrastructure components<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with environment refresh processes and Fusion system administration<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with patch management, cloning, and backup strategies<br/><br/></p><p>- Good knowledge of Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM) and security configurations<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to work with global teams and support production and non-production environments<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
