<p><p><b>Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure proper housekeeping is carried out to avoid outage<br/><br/></p><p>- Daily report<br/><br/></p><p>- Initiation of tuning for various application in coordination with respective Application owner<br/><br/></p><p>- Mails<br/><br/></p><p>- Periodic health check review and parameter tuning of databases statspack/awr/monthly reports<br/><br/></p><p>- Creation of various test setups to test application tuning as per requirement<br/><br/></p><p>- Mails<br/><br/></p><p><b>Audit and Compliance : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Implementation of baseline hardening & closure of security finding from DB point of view<br/><br/></p><p>- CA/VA report<br/><br/></p><p>- Handling of various internal and external audits<br/><br/></p><p>- Mails, audit reports<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure closure of all audit findings for databases<br/><br/></p><p>- Mails, audit reports<br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain up-to-date db inventory along with all details inventory</p><p><br/></p><p>- Reconcile & maintain record of rdbms licenses<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure appropriate documentation and certify for ISO 270001 surveillance audit<br/><br/></p><p>- CM forms, Third party access forms, privileged user details, access control matrix, audit report<br/><br/></p><p>- Adherence to processes and policies<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure closure of pending VAs and CAs IT security dashboard<br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain all necessary records for audit purpose<br/><br/></p><p>- Access control matrix, evidences, etc.<br/><br/></p><p>- RBI audit Mails, audit reports<br/><br/></p><p><b>Reports : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure all checklists received from database admin team<br/><br/></p><p>- Daily checklists<br/><br/></p><p>- Monthly report to Senior Mgmt by 2nd of every month<br/><br/></p><p>- Monthly report<br/><br/></p><p>- Database uptime report for critical applications<br/><br/></p><p>- Daily report<br/><br/></p><p>- Publish performance gain reports wherever tuning is done by/as per app dba<br/><br/></p><p>- Timely update in Major activity : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Support / DB upgrade to supported/latest version Number of dbs upgraded, email communication to ensure necessary follow-up<br/><br/></p><p>- Support for UAT & Development databases<br/><br/></p><p>- Oracle license utilization tracking<br/><br/></p><p>- Execution of projects initiated by project team<br/><br/></p><p>- Close known vulnerabilities proactively<br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain & Update Documentation ops manuals, sop, exceptions, deviations, stop/start services<br/><br/></p><p><b>Soft skills : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Coordination with various teams for day to day operations<br/><br/></p><p>- Understand application & business requirement<br/><br/></p><p>- Quick response time<br/><br/></p><p>- Reports in neat and accurate format<br/><br/></p><p>- Working and interacting with others to accomplish team goals<br/><br/></p><p>- Express ideas and concerns clearly<br/><br/></p><p>- Team meetings and knowledge sharing sessions as per predefined frequency<br/><br/></p><p>- Learn new technologies, acquire new skill set<br/><br/></p><p>- Prepare & do presentations during datacenter meetings</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
