<p><p><b>Job Description : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Requirement gathering, designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting systems and processes related to EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).<br/><br/></p><p>- This position will work primarily on supporting business process, integrations and systems as it relates to EDI.<br/><br/></p><p>- In addition, the incumbent would be assisting with the support, maintenance, configuration and upgrades as it relates to those technologies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Finally, we are looking for an individual with a desire to focus on understanding business processes and learning tools and/or technologies related to EDI.<br/><br/></p><p><b>Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Configure trading partner setups for EDI and create mapping (FMD/MRS) documents.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work with Mapping and Communication protocols.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work on incidents, troubleshoot complex EDI failures, engage with external EDI partners and internal business users.<br/><br/></p><p>- Off hours and on call support will be required.<br/><br/><b>Qualifications : : </b></p><p><br/></p>- EDI knowledge on transactions in retail/manufacturing/consumer goods domain and familiar with EDI B2B model.<br/><br/></p><p>- Expertise in EDI & B2B process along with EDI standards including batch and real-time transactions 850, 855, 810, etc.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in configuring trading partner setups for EDI and creating mapping (FMD/MRS) documents.<br/><br/></p><p>- Well versed and experience in supporting EDI environment.<br/><br/></p><p>- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related area.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience managing tasks and working cross functionally with peers to achieve project goals.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent organizational and time management skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Tested problem-solving and decision-making skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- A strong pattern of initiative.<br/><br/></p><p>- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven ability to learn different business processes and technologies.<br/><br/><p><b>Preferred or Required based on Job Level : </b></p><p><br/></p>- IBM iSeries experience.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge on Mainframe JCL.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with reading and writing Cobol.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with reading and writing SQL.<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure and Experience on Oracle Cloud or similar Cloud Computing would be a plus.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience on Open Text Tool.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
