<p><p><b>Description:</b><br/><br/>Role Overview<br/><br/>We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Oracle ERP Specialist with a strong focus on General Ledger (GL) and Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS) modules.
This is a contract position with a hybrid work model, requiring the specialist to be based in Chennai with the flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements.<br/><br/>The specialist will be a key contributor to managing, maintaining, and enhancing our clients' Oracle ERP systems.
The role demands a blend of deep technical expertise, hands-on application support, and strong consulting acumen to drive business process improvements.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>Oracle Application Management & Support<br/><br/>- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) with a primary focus on the General Ledger (GL) and Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS) modules.<br/><br/>- Manage the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and configuration of the Oracle Applications environment, including GL period close, segment value changes, and intercompany balancing setup.<br/><br/>- Provide advanced functional and technical support for Oracle Applications, particularly Oracle HR, ensuring all modules are functioning optimally and aligned with business needs.<br/><br/>- Perform root cause analysis and resolution of issues across the Oracle ERP landscape, focusing on financial and intercompany transaction flows.<br/><br/>System Integration & Consulting :<br/><br/>- Lead and execute the integration of various external and internal systems and applications with the core Oracle ERP system, ensuring seamless data flow and integrity.<br/><br/>- Apply expertise in Business Process Improvement to analyze, design, and implement solutions that leverage Oracle capabilities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.<br/><br/>- Provide expert Consulting services to stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into effective, scalable, and supportable Oracle solutions.<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain technical and functional documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations.<br/><br/>Collaboration & Problem Solving :<br/><br/>- Utilize strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex system issues and propose effective, timely solutions.<br/><br/>- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Finance, HR, and IT, to ensure system changes and enhancements meet organizational goals.<br/><br/>- Work both independently and collaboratively in the hybrid environment, managing assigned tasks, projects, and deliverables with minimal supervision.<br/><br/><b>Required Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- <b>Experience :</b> Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience working with Oracle Applications (Oracle EBS), with significant expertise in Oracle GL and AGIS.<br/><br/>- <b>Module Proficiency :</b> Deep hands-on experience in configuring, implementing, and supporting Oracle General Ledger (GL) and Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS).
Experience with Oracle HR is also required.<br/><br/>- <b>Technical Skills :</b> Proven skill in the Integration of various systems and applications with Oracle EBS.
