<p><p><b>Job Summary :</b><br/><br/></p><p>We are looking for a highly skilled Oracle Utilities MDM (Meter Data Management) Consultant with at least 3 years of experience, including 2+ end-to-end implementations in the Power, Water, or Gas domains.<br/><br/></p><p>The ideal candidate will bring strong techno-functional expertise, including a deep understanding of MDM components, the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), and Java development.<br/><br/></p><p>You will play a critical role in requirement analysis, solution design, development, and integration with surrounding systems like HES and CC&B.</p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities & Solution Design :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Lead or participate in at least two full-cycle Oracle Utilities MDM implementations in the utility domain (Power, Water, Gas).</p><p><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Create External Design Documents (EDD) and develop conceptual solutions based on business requirements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in solution architecture reviews, ensuring alignment with functional and technical Development :</b></p><p><br/></p>Design and configure core MDM components such as :<br/><br/></p><p>- VEE Rules<br/><br/></p><p>- Device Management<br/><br/></p><p>- Usage Management<br/><br/></p><p>- Device Events & Communication<br/><br/></p><p>- Measuring Components<br/><br/></p><p>- Usage Subscriptions, IMD, TOU, and related XML formats.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on customization and development using OUAF and Java.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop custom programs, interface enhancements, and web services for system integration.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform batch configuration and troubleshooting.<br/><br/></p><p>- Integrate MDM with systems like HES, CC&B, and other external & Documentation :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Write and execute unit tests; document test cases and results effectively.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and compliance with coding standards and version control.<br/><br/></p><p>- Support performance optimization by identifying and resolving design or coding issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for deployments, maintenance, and & Collaboration :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Provide post-implementation support, debugging, and issue resolution.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, infrastructure teams, and client stakeholders.<br/><br/></p><p>- Mentor and assist other team members as Skills & Qualifications :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p>- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Utilities MDM.<br/><br/></p><p>- Minimum 2 end-to-end MDM implementations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong domain knowledge in Power, Water, or Gas utilities.<br/><br/></p><p>Deep understanding of :<br/><br/></p><p>- VEE rules<br/><br/></p><p>- Device Management<br/><br/></p><p>- Measuring Components<br/><br/></p><p>- IMD / TOU / Usage Subscriptions<br/><br/></p><p>- Device Events / Communication<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficient in Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) and Java development.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with Web Services, batch processing, and system integrations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to write high-quality custom code and interface programs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong skills in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of version control, coding standards, and release processes.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication and client interaction skills</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
