Role description
Partner enablement is delivered through the team that reports to the VP of Partners at MongoDB.
The team’s responsibilities include implementing and evolving partner sales methodology, delivering relevant training programs, providing targeted coaching, optimizing sales resources, and equipping leadership with actionable insights.
Our existing programs have consistently had an overwhelmingly positive impact on the partner organization, MongoDB’s trusted partners and the company as a whole.
The Partner Enablement Program Manager, who reports to the Senior Manager of Partner Enablement, is a pivotal part of the team dedicated to strategically improving the performance of the partner team.
The Program Manager will create effective learning programs that improve partner sales performance by designing and developing content, such as e-learning modules, presentations, and assessments, collaborating with sales leaders to align with business goals, and evaluating training impact.
This role can be based remotely in the Gurugram region.
Key Responsibilities
Instructional Design
Act as the lead instructional designer for upcoming program curriculum updates and releasesCollaborate with GTM leadership to identify skill gaps and training needs by analyzing performance metrics, sales goals, and market trendsIn collaboration with various teams, such as solutions architects, sales leaders, partner marketing, product marketing, design and develop comprehensive training programs covering essential sales skills such as product knowledge, pipeline generation, and other sales techniquesCreate and manage a library of resources and materials with consistent branding to support self-sufficiency for in-the-field sales reps.
This includes Quick Reference Guides, FAQ documents, micro-learning videos, and more Use authoring tools, video editing tools, and other software to enrich the learning experience Operations, Analysis, and Strategic Support
Manage the program operations for assigned partner enablement programs working closely with the Learning Management System (“LMS”) admin team and Partner Sales team.
Program operations responsibilities include coordination of event logistics, participant tracking in the LMS, and streamlining internal processes to run enablement delivery at scaleProvide analysis on strategic initiatives (new sales plays, onboarding redesign, competitive programs, partner certifications)Collaborate with Sales Operations, RevOps, and Marketing Insights teams to enrich enablement data with broader GTM performance signalsPartner with Enablement leaders to assess program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement Measurement of Business Impact
Define and track success metrics for enablement programs using frameworks such as Kirkpatrick, LTEM, and ROIConnect enablement outcomes (readiness, certification, adoption) to GTM performance indicators (quota attainment, deal cycle time and pipeline creation)Support quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and leadership meetings with data-driven recommendationsInfluence program design by providing evidence-based insights during planning and execution Qualifications
At least 4 years of experience as a lead Instructional Designer or Manager for learning content production teams or other related strategic project/program roles preferable in tech industryExperience with CRM (Salesforce) and learning/enablement platforms (LMS, Seismic, Highspot, MindTickle)Exposure to tools and technology to create scalable, multi-lingual, and experiential learning programs.
Hands-on knowledge of authoring tools, video editing tools, and LMS publishing is highly desiredExcellent communication and storytelling skills; knowing when and how to share with the right audiences.
Ability to translate data-driven narratives for executive audiencesExcellent grasp of learning theories and design thinkingA coaching mindset; the ability to utilize project management methods to enable team functionsExposure to working on large scale projects, such as SKOs, large team offsites, and leadership development programsNatural leadership, self-starter mentality, and problem-solving skills (must-have).

You'll attend Sales Bootcamp to learn about the technology and sales process, and shadow partner certification programsBy 120 days, you will gain competency with enablement tools, collaborate with the Partner Sales team to build your first training programBy 180 days, you will become the subject matter expert for partner enablement programs, managing them end-to-end.
