<p><p><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Manage end-to-end patch deployment lifecycle across Windows environments using MECM/SCCM.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and maintain custom PowerShell scripts for patch automation and system remediation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Analyze, prioritize, and deploy security patches based on criticality (e.g., zero-day vulnerabilities).<br/><br/></p><p>- Utilize Qualys (or similar vulnerability management tools) to assess and remediate security vulnerabilities.<br/><br/></p><p>- Monitor, track, and validate patch compliance to ensure adherence to organizational security policies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Troubleshoot patch failures, OS-level issues, and other endpoint compliance problems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain detailed documentation for patch procedures, audit reports, and configuration changes.<br/><br/></p><p>- Coordinate with IT infrastructure and security teams for smooth execution of patch cycles.<br/><br/></p><p>- Stay updated with emerging threats and suggest improvements in patching and remediation Skills : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Expertise in Patch Management using MECM/SCCM.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong PowerShell scripting skills for remediation and automation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience using Qualys for vulnerability assessment and remediation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Deep understanding of Windows OS, patch deployment process, and compliance metrics.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Good written and verbal communication to Have (Optional) Skills : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Experience with BigFix or other endpoint management platforms.<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to Linux patching processes is a plus.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with reporting tools or dashboard creation for patch compliance.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
