Our Bill Center application has gained immense recognition in the banking industry and we are continuously adding more clients to our solution.
We have used Angular / React in our frontend layer backed with Rest based API services & Java Springs in the backend.
We have a very robust money movement platform developed / deployed in the backend servers which assists in a seamless Payment processing & settlement process with Banks and Funding House for our clients.</p><br/><b>Position : </b>QA Engineer / Senior QA Engineer<br/><b><br/></b><p><b>Job Location :</b> Bengaluru (Work from Office)</p><p><br/></p><b>Interview process : </b>Technical rounds (3-4) >> One face to face round is mandatory<br/><br/><b>Essential Functions & Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Act as SME for assigned projects, including requirements, acceptance criteria, and Dev stories.<br/><br/></p><p>- Engage during the requirements phase to clarify acceptance criteria and project timelines.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop Test Plans and cases, linking them to requirements and Dev stories for traceability.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in Defect Triage meetings to identify and address bugs, and maintain JIRA dashboards.<br/><br/></p><p>- Replicate client-reported bugs and collaborate with development teams.<br/><br/></p><p>- Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Review code in Bitbucket (Whitebox testing) and validate against databases (Oracle, MongoDB, SQLServer).<br/><br/></p><p>- Drive quality, advocate for test-driven development, and enhance the automated delivery pipeline.<br/><br/></p><p>- Apply automated testing methodologies and cover unit, integration, end-to-end testing in SIT and UAT.<br/><br/></p><p>- Support organizational growth and career development opportunities<br/><br/><b>Education & Experience required :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- 2-3 years of Quality Assurance experience.<br/><br/></p><p>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, including Agile.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.<br/><br/></p><p>- Working knowledge of relational databases/SQL and No-SQL concepts.<br/><br/></p><p>- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.<br/><br/></p><p>- Basic knowledge of QA roles/responsibilities within Agile.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to identify issues, resolve bottlenecks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.</p><p><br/><b>Preferred :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Hands-on experience with front-end test frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Jest, Puppeteer).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience testing RESTful services in NodeJS.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to understand and analyze development logs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficient in Oracle 19c and PL/SQL.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiar with GIT or similar source control systems (e.g., Mercurial, Subversion).<br/><br/></p><p>- Basic knowledge of Linux commands.<br/><br/><b>What we expect from you?</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- You have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment adapting to changing priorities<br/><br/></p><p>- You are focused and detail oriented but know when to seek help from others<br/><br/></p><p>- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate problems and solutions to both technical and non-</p><p>technical audiences<br/><br/></p><p>- You possess superior troubleshooting and analytical skills to determine the root cause of issues<br/><br/></p><p>- You strive to identify areas of improvement and work proactively to prevent issues from occurring<br/><br/></p><p>- You are a self-starter with an appreciation for tackling technical challenges of varying complexity<br/><br/></p><p>- You are diligent when making decisions and can easily justify your actions.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
