Project Role Description : Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to.
There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Summary: As a Performance Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks aimed at diagnosing complex issues that the in-house performance testing team has been unable to resolve.
Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze performance metrics, developing strategies to enhance application performance, and ensuring that the software development lifecycle is optimized for performance.
You will also be responsible for validating performance testing results and contributing to capacity planning efforts, all while maintaining a focus on problem detection and resolution to improve overall system efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Analyze performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure performance considerations are integrated into the software development lifecycle.
Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Performance Testing Strategy.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Strong understanding of application performance management techniques.
- Knowledge of capacity planning and resource allocation strategies.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and architecture.
Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Performance Testing Strategy.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
