<p><p><b>Position : </b> Performance Test Engineer<br/><br/><b>Experience : </b> 3-5 Years<br/><br/><b>Job Summary : </b><br/><br/>We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Performance Test Engineer to join our QA team.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on expertise in performance and load testing, with a deep focus on Apache JMeter.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end performance testing lifecycle, from designing and executing test scripts to analyzing results and identifying system bottlenecks.
This role requires a solid understanding of the Life Sciences (LS) domain and a commitment to ensuring our applications meet stringent performance and compliance standards.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/><b>Performance Test Strategy & Scripting : </b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, and execute complex performance test scripts using Apache JMeter to simulate various load conditions.<br/><br/>- Define detailed performance test scenarios based on business workflows, user behavior, and non-functional requirements.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and memory leaks.<br/><br/><b>Analysis & Reporting : </b><br/><br/>- Analyze performance test results, utilizing monitoring tools and system resource utilization data.<br/><br/>- Provide comprehensive and detailed reports highlighting bottlenecks, risks, and actionable recommendations for performance improvement.<br/><br/>- Conduct in-depth analysis of server logs and application-level metrics to pinpoint root causes of performance issues.<br/><br/><b>STLC & Domain Compliance : </b><br/><br/>- Participate actively in the entire Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), including test planning, test execution, and defect tracking.<br/><br/>- Ensure all performance testing activities align with Life Sciences domain standards and compliance requirements, such as GxP and 21 CFR Part 11.<br/><br/><b>Automation & Optimization : </b><br/><br/>- Continuously optimize performance testing strategies, tools, and frameworks to improve efficiency and test coverage.<br/><br/>- Contribute to the integration of performance testing into the CI/CD pipeline.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications</b><br/><br/><b>Core Experience : </b><br/><br/>- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in performance and load testing.<br/><br/>- Strong expertise in Apache JMeter for test script development and execution.<br/><br/>- Proven experience in the Life Sciences (LS) domain, with a good understanding of regulatory environments like GxP.<br/><br/><b>Technical Proficiency : </b><br/><br/>- Proficiency in analyzing server logs, system resource utilization, and monitoring tools.<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of SQL for database performance validation and data integrity checks.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with test design, execution, and defect management across the entire STLC.<br/><br/><b>Problem-Solving & Collaboration : </b><br/><br/>- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex performance issues.<br/><br/>- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with development and business teams.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Skills : </b><br/><br/>- Experience with other performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or Gatling.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with CI/CD integration for automated performance testing.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).<br/><br/>- Experience with cloud-based testing and monitoring.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
