<p><p><b>We are seeking a Senior Backend-Heavy MERN Full Stack Developer</b> with 4+ years of professional experience, especially with Node.js and backend architecture.<br/><br/> You should be highly proficient in backend systems, API design, and database management, while also being capable of collaborating across the stack.<br/><br/> This role demands strong technical leadership, mentorship capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and performance optimization.</p><p><br/></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and secure backend systems using Node.js.</p><p><br/>- Architect and optimize complex database schemas on MongoDB, PostgreSQL or MySQL.<br/><br/></p><p>- Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs with performance, maintainability, and security in mind.<br/><br/></p><p>- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in backend services to enhance system scalability and performance.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud-based deployments (AWS/GCP/Azure).<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers through code reviews, design discussions, and pair programming.<br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain high code quality by enforcing best practices, design patterns, and testing standards.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless API integration and support SSR </p><p>and SEO best practices when needed.<br/><br/></p><p>- Take ownership of backend infrastructure and help shape technical direction and architecture Skills & Experience : </b></p><p><br/></p>- 4+ years of total experience.<br/><br/></p><p>- At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend development with Node.js and at least 1+ year of experience with Frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, Javascript.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Deep understanding of at least one database MongoDB/PostgreSQL/MySQL and data modeling for high-performance applications.</p><p><br/>- Strong expertise in API design, especially with RESTful and GraphQL.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of security principles in web applications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD processes.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving to Have : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Experience leading agile teams or playing a tech lead role.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Contributions to open-source or developer : </b> Gurgaon </p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Job Type : </b> Full time </p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Notice Period : </b> Immediate Joiners preferred.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
