The Principal Architect will play a critical role in defining the technical strategy, ensuring the successful design and implementation of innovative Java-based solutions for the P&C software product line, and aligning architectural initiatives with business goals and objectives.<br/><br/><b>Job Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Lead and guide the architectural vision and strategy for the P&C software product line, providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams.<br/><br/><p></p><p>- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements for P&C software products and translate them into scalable and robust architectural designs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and maintain architectural standards, patterns, and best practices specific to Java-based P&C software development, ensuring consistency and scalability across the product line.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, reviewing and guiding architectural decisions, code reviews, and performance optimization efforts.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations, to ensure architectural alignment and facilitate smooth integration and delivery of P&C software projects.<br/><br/></p><p>- Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and industry best practices related to Java-based P&C software development and provide recommendations for adopting new technologies or frameworks.<br/><br/></p><p>- Conduct regular architectural reviews and assessments of the P&C software product line, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance performance, reliability, and security.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business goals, identify technical challenges, and propose architectural solutions that align with the company's overall objectives.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with the Principal Engineers and technical leaders to drive innovation, promote architectural excellence, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.<br/><br/><b>Technical Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Expertise in Java programming language and related frameworks for P&C software development, such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, or similar.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of architectural principles, design patterns, and best practices in Java-based software development, with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their architectural components and services for Java-based applications.<br/><br/></p><p>- In-depth understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and integration patterns for building scalable and modular P&C software products.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with modern software development practices, including Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles, specifically in the context of Java-based P&C software development.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with database technologies, data modeling, and optimization techniques for Java-based P&C software products.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices specific to Java-based P&C software development, ensuring data protection and system security.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with performance optimization, scalability, and load-testing techniques for Java-based applications.<br/><br/><b>Business Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities to drive the architectural vision and align it with business goals and objectives.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, and present complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven track record of successful architectural decision-making and technical leadership in the P&C software industry.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to analyze business requirements, evaluate technical options, and make informed architectural recommendations based on trade-offs and constraints.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions within the P&C software domain.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to mentor and inspire development teams, promoting a culture of architectural excellence, technical growth, and continuous improvement.<br/><br/><b>Education and Experience :</b><br/><br/>- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.</p><br/><p></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
