<p><p>We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Principal Engineer with deep expertise in full stack development and hands-on experience in cloud and DevOps practices.<br/><br/>This role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performance systems in collaboration with cross-site teams.<br/><br/><b>Key responsibilities :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and secure full stack applications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS & Azure.<br/><br/></p><p>- Drive DevOps initiatives including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, monitoring, and automation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with product managers, architects, cross-site and cross-functional teams to define technical strategy and roadmap.<br/><br/></p><p>- Lead Technical Initiatives and take strong technical decisions in collaboration with cross-site teams aligning business vision.<br/><br/></p><p>- Champion engineering best practices, code quality, and performance optimization.<br/><br/></p><p>- Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.<br/><br/></p><p>- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance system capabilities and developer productivity.<br/><br/></p><p>- Apply best practices on code quality and security-safe code through non-functional requirements mastery, code reviews, coding guidelines, unit testing and code refactoring.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Experience :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Proven experience in full stack development using backend technologies (e.g., Java, GO, Python) and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.<br/><br/></p><p>- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Good understanding of database systems, including Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server)and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DocumentDB).<br/><br/></p><p>- Fair knowledge in database performance tuning, indexing, replication, and backup strategies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).<br/><br/></p><p>- Good knowledge in AI concepts and effective usage of GenAI, Copilot & AgentAI tools to delivery fast and smart results.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong communication & negotiation skills, with problem-solving mindset and leadership qualities.<br/><br/><b>Key Stakeholders :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- R&D Senior Managers, Managers, R&D Engineering teams, Scrum Masters & Product owners.<br/><br/></p><p>- Product Management team.<br/><br/></p><p>- Customer Success & Implementation teams.<br/><br/></p><p>- User experience teams.<br/><br/></p><p>- Architects & Principal Engineers in departments and across Amadeus globally.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
