</p><p><br/></p><p>Do you enjoy designing world-class APIs, near-real-time event processing systems, and highly scalable SaaS platforms?<br/><br/>If yes, MontyCloud is the place for you.<br/><br/>As a Principal Platform Engineer, you will lead the design and development of MontyClouds Cloud Management Platform, mentor engineers, and help build next-gen scalable cloud-native solutions.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Lead the design and implementation of the Cloud Management Platform with high scalability and reliability.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and deliver innovative solutions.<br/><br/>- Build and maintain cloud-native services leveraging AWS and other cloud technologies.<br/><br/>- Provide technical mentorship, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.<br/><br/>- Drive best practices, design patterns, and adoption of emerging cloud technologies.<br/><br/>- Ensure delivery of high-quality software with effective processes and methodologies.<br/><br/>- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.<br/><br/><b>Must-Have Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Strong experience in SaaS platforms & AWS cloud technologies.<br/><br/>- Proven expertise in scalable, resilient systems & serverless architecture.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with distributed systems, event-driven design, APIs.<br/><br/>- Proficiency with Kafka, OpenSearch/ElasticSearch, AWS Kinesis, Azure Streams.<br/><br/>- Programming expertise in Python / Java / Go.<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform/CloudFormation).<br/><br/>- Experience in building AI/ML systems and familiarity with LLMs (nice to have).<br/><br/>- Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.<br/><br/><b>Good to Have :</b><br/><br/>- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes.<br/><br/>- Experience with TDD/BDD methodologies.<br/><br/><b>Experience & Education :</b><br/><br/>- 12 to 15 years of software development experience (SaaS & Cloud).<br/><br/>- 8+ years in building and shipping SaaS platforms.<br/><br/>- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
