<p><p>For one of client based at Bengaluru.<br/><br/> <b>ABOUT THE ROLE :</b><br/><br/> Are you an experienced Principal platform engineer ready to lead and build the next generation of cloud-native SaaS products?
My Client is looking for a Principal Platform Engineer to take the reins of our cloud platform architecture and implementation.<br/><br/> This is a pivotal role for a seasoned technologist who brings deep expertise in cloud-native development, especially on AWS, and has a passion for building scalable, secure, and event-driven SaaS platforms.<br/><br/> In other words, we are looking for someone who can architect, build, and lead development of scalable, event-driven, and serverless applications on AWS.<br/><br/> <b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :</b><br/><br/> - Architect & Build scalable, secure, and efficient platform modules aligned with Company vision and business goals.<br/><br/> - Lead end-to-end implementation of platform solutions across development, testing, and deployment stages.<br/><br/> - Mentor and guide platform engineers, conducting code reviews and enabling skill development.<br/><br/> - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, UI/UX, and DevOps to deliver seamless platform capabilities.<br/><br/> - Drive adoption of Python, serverless architecture, and event-driven systems.<br/><br/> - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence platform strategy.<br/><br/> - Stay ahead of the curve on cloud tech, ensuring our platform remains future-ready and innovative.<br/><br/> - Contribute to setting the technical strategy and vision in close partnership with senior engineering leadership.<br/><br/> <b>DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :</b><br/><br/> <b>Must Have :</b><br/><br/> - Expert in Python, with a focus on writing production-grade, scalable code.<br/><br/> - Strong hands-on experience with serverless architecture, microservices, and event-driven systems.<br/><br/> - Proven success in designing and deploying SaaS platforms on AWS.<br/><br/> - Deep understanding of AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, RDS, S3, etc.) and architectural best practices.<br/><br/> - Demonstrated leadership in technology design, team mentorship, and project execution.<br/><br/> - Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/> <b>Nice to Have ( Will be added Advantage)</b><br/><br/> - AWS certifications (Architect / Developer).<br/><br/> - Experience with Boto3 SDK.<br/><br/> - Familiarity with Azure/GCP.<br/><br/> - Docker/Kubernetes knowledge.<br/><br/> If you're passionate about building scalable platforms and leading teams that shape the future of cloud, wed love to connect!.<br/><br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
