**Introduction**
IBM Maximo Inventory Optimization (MIO) is the industry-leading cloud-based platform that helps asset-intensive organizations optimize their maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) inventory.

**Your role and responsibilities**
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to lead execution for MIO.

This role is focused on defining detailed requirements, working closely with development and design teams, and ensuring product capabilities meet the needs of MRO-intensive industries.

The right candidate combines deep knowledge of MRO inventory and supply chain operations with hands-on product management skills.

You’ll ensure features are delivered on time, fit for purpose, and aligned to the roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Translate client and stakeholder needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and epics.
*

Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in partnership with engineering leads.
*

Define workflows, acceptance criteria, and use cases to guide development decisions.
*

Gain expert-level knowledge of MIO’s analytics and optimization capabilities and apply this knowledge to feature scoping and validation.
*

Ensure integration requirements with ERP/EAM systems are well documented and executable.
*

Track feature delivery progress and ensure quality and stability in every release.
*

Provide clear documentation to support development, QA, and design teams.
*

Partner with product leadership to align sprint execution with the overall roadmap.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
Required Skills and Experience

*

5+ years’ experience in MRO inventory management, supply chain, or asset-intensive operations (oil & gas, mining, utilities, transportation, or manufacturing).
*

Hands-on experience with enterprise asset management (EAM) or ERP systems such as IBM Maximo, SAP, or Oracle.
*

Strong ability to create user stories, define workflows, and work with Agile development teams.
*

Solid understanding of inventory optimization methods: demand forecasting, safety stock modeling, criticality analysis, and lead-time management.
*

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related technical field.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
Preferred Qualifications

*

Experience with SaaS or cloud-hosted enterprise software.
*

Familiarity with data-driven optimization and prescriptive analytics.
*

Working knowledge of Agile tools such as Aha, Jira, or Github.
*

Strong documentation and requirements management skills.
