SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) Deemed to be University, a trendsetter & frontrunner in professional education, invites applicants for the Faculty Positions in Management Courses.
The candidates with industry experience and scholarly aptitude to handle courses on Analytics, Operations and IT are encouraged to apply.
The candidates must possess relevant industry experience and preferably with a Ph.D. qualification.
The candidates with academic experience must have a proven track record of teaching in Postgraduate Programs in Management.
The candidates with industry experience along with exposure to teaching, without Ph.D., will be considered for an Adjunct position.
Qualifying Criteria – PROFESSOR:
a.
The candidate should be a Ph.D. with First Class (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in a Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline.
AND
Minimum 10 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
AND
Minimum Research Score of 120
AND
Successfully guided at least 2 doctoral candidates.
b.
Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, of which at least 3 years shall be equivalent to Associate Professor.
OR
In the event, the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:
i.
A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline
OR
AND
iv.
The candidate should have professional work experience which is significant and can be recognized at the national / International level as equivalent to Ph.D. and 10- 15 years’ managerial experience in the industry should be at the Senior Managerial level in a large Organization/MNC/Conglomerate.
c.
Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals.
Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and patent filed.
Qualifying Criteria – ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:
a.
The candidate should be a Ph.D. with First Class (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline.
AND
Minimum 7 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
AND
Minimum Research Score of 75
b.
Minimum of 8 years of full-time experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 3 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.
OR
In the event, that the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:

iv.
The candidate should have professional work experience which is significant and can be recognized at the national / International level as equivalent to Ph.D. and eight years of managerial experience in the industry should be at the Senior Managerial level in a large Organization/MNC/Conglomerate.
c.
Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals.
Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and patent filed.
Qualifying Criteria – ASSISTANT PROFESSOR:
a.
Ph.D. is mandatory with a minimum of 55% in Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline.
AND
b.
Minimum 2 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
c.
Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable :
i) Ph.D. preferred with 2 years of experience.
ii) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency.
Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and a patent filed.
Pay Scales: As per UGC guidelines; but will not be a constraint for the right candidate.
