Technical Program Manager – GEC Tech

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology leaders to understand project vision, translate business needs into actionable plans, and align delivery with strategic goals.
  • Define and manage project scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Coordinate with external project managers and cross-functional stakeholders to drive Global Engineering Center (GEC) deliverables on schedule and within budget.
  • Lead day-to-day project execution, including agile ceremonies (scrums, sprint planning, retrospectives), and maintain accurate tracking of progress and blockers.
  • Hold project team members accountable for estimates, commitments, and delivery timelines, fostering a culture of ownership and reliability.
  • Provide timely and insightful project status reports to leadership, proactively escalate issues, and drive resolution through structured problem-solving.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication, prioritization, and alignment of goals.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on operational excellence (OPEX), process optimization, and innovation enablement.
  • Ensure adherence to project governance processes including solution reviews, code reviews, and test validations.


Experience:

  • 10–15 years of total professional experience in technology-driven environments.
  • 5–7+ years of hands-on program/project management experience, leading complex initiatives across IT and engineering teams.
  • 5+ years in leadership roles such as Program Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum/Agile Lead, with a proven ability to define, implement, and enforce delivery processes.
  • Strong working knowledge of IT SDLC methodologies, including both Waterfall and Agile, with practical experience in applying them to real-world projects.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional IT teams, including Software Development, Business Analysis, and Quality Assurance.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and timelines in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in one or more functional areas related to Inventory Systems is a significant advantage.
  • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud or similar CRM platforms is helpful but not mandatory
