This individual is singularlyresponsible for maximizing throughput and guaranteeing the prompt delivery of tasks byoptimizing the utilization of all available taskers.
The primary objective is to facilitate therapid transmission of workflow guidelines to PODs, ensure proper tooling setup, andenable PODs to commence tasks without delay.
This role also encompasses themanagement of operational logistics such as attendance, PTOs, and timesheets, andensuring that all necessary training is effectively administered to taskers & leads.
TheOperations Lead will serve as a key coordinator among internal stakeholders, includingmain leads, pod leads, technical writers, and data scientists, to achieve overall projectefficiency and successfully manage multiple simultaneous workflows under extremelytight deadlines, often requiring same-day deliveries.
Through strategic planning, thisresource optimizes workflows, identifies workarounds for challenges, and cultivatesefficient ways of working.Responsibilities:● Set up and manage large in-house/outsourced project execution teams and theirassociated processes to ensure successful project completion.● Monitor, measure, and communicate project progress, potential risks, delays, andteam performance to globally dispersed teams, executives, and other sponsors.● Take the lead in driving cross-office collaboration and resolving any site-relateddifferences● Manage the execution of multiple simultaneous workflows under extremely tightdeadlines, often requiring same-day deliveries.● Ensure the seamless and timely transmission of workflow guidelines to PODs.● Verify that the correct tooling setup is in place for all tasks.● Ensure that PODs commence tasks as quickly as possible.● Track attendance, PTOs, and timesheets for all team members.● Ensure all appropriate training is in place and administered effectively.● Coordinate between all internal stakeholders, including main leads, pod leads,technical writers, and data scientists.● Support teams in fast-paced environments to drive large-scale delivery from conceptto completion, leading through multiple evolutions.● Prioritize, adapt to change, and provide flexible thought partnership in a rapidlyevolving landscape.● Ensure maximal utilization of all available taskers.● Coordinate with Engineering and Cross-Product groups to identify and implementsolutions for optimizing and scaling human computation micro-tasks.● Understand various Google products, tools, and processes, leveraging them to driveoperational efficiencies.● Demonstrate passion for advancing AI initiatives.Minimum Qualifications● 7-10 years of relevant work experience.● Experience managing large-scale and dynamic operations, with competing resourcerequirements and priorities.Preferred Qualifications● 7-10 years of relevant work experience, with 3 years of industry experiencemanaging large-scale and dynamic operations involving hundreds ofvendor-managed resources.● Ability to define projects and execute within timelines and with multiple stakeholders.● Proven ability to deliver projects on time and to budget.● Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple initiativessimultaneously.● Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels ofmanagement, possessing exceptional verbal and written communication skills.● Ability to operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolvingwork environment
