<p>Exp - 5+<br/><br/>Location - Gurugram <br/><br/>NP - 0-15 Days Only <br/><br/>Asset lifecycle management : </p><p><br/></p><p>- Oversee and manage the complete lifecycle of all IT hardware assets, including desktops, laptops, servers, peripherals, and network devices, from procurement to retirement.<br/><br/>Discovery and inventory :<br/><br/>- Utilize and manage automated discovery tools (e.g , ServiceNow Discovery, SolarWinds, etc.) to scan the network and populate the asset inventory.<br/><br/>- Configure and maintain discovery schedules, probes, and sensors to ensure comprehensive and accurate data collection.<br/><br/>- Validate and reconcile discovered asset data against procurement records to maintain a "single source of truth" in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).<br/><br/>CMDB management :<br/><br/>- Work with the CMDB to ensure that hardware assets are accurately recorded as Configuration Items (CIs).<br/><br/>- Define and maintain CI relationships and dependency mapping to support IT service management processes.<br/><br/>Qualifications and skills :<br/><br/>- Proven experience in IT Asset Management, with a strong focus on hardware lifecycle management and automated discovery.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with an enterprise asset management platform (e.g , ServiceNow HAM, Flexera, etc.), including configuration, customization, and reporting.<br/><br/>- Deep understanding of automated discovery methods, including agent-based and agentless techniques.<br/><br/>- Experience with CMDB management and data integrity is highly desirable.<br/><br/>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of attention to detail.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with ITIL practices is a plus<br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
