The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Python, Playwright, PyTest, Pywinauto, and Java with Selenium, API testing with Rest Assured, and SQL.
Experience in the mortgage domain, Azure DevOps, and desktop & web application testing is essential.<br/><br/><b>Key Requirements : </b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (manual and automation).<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong proficiency in <b>Python, Pywinauto, PyTest, Playwright</b> and Java with Selenium.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with <b>Rest Assured for API automation.</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Expertise in <b>SQL for backend testing and data validation.</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in mortgage domain applications (loan origination, servicing, compliance) is an added advantage<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of <b>Azure DevOps (ADO)</b> for CI/CD, defect tracking, and test case management.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in <b>testing desktop and web applications</b>.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional global teams.<br/><br/>The role requires working in <b>evening shift timings</b> (4 PM 1 AM IST) to collaborate with global teams.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Design and develop automation test scripts using Python, Playwright, PywinAuto, and PyTest.<br/><br/></p><p>- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for desktop applications using Java with WinAppDriver and Selenium, and Python with Pywinauto.<br/><br/></p><p>- Understand business requirements in the mortgage domain and prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.<br/><br/></p><p>- Define automation strategy and identify test cases to automate for web, desktop, and API testing.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform manual testing for desktop, web, and API applications to validate functional and non-functional requirements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Create and execute API automation scripts using Rest Assured for RESTful services validation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform SQL queries to validate backend data and ensure data integrity in mortgage domain application.<br/><br/></p><p>- Use Azure DevOps for test case management, defect tracking, CI/CD pipeline execution, and test reporting.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate automated tests within CI/CD </p><p>pipelines.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficient in version control and collaborative development using Git.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in managing test automation projects and dependencies using Maven.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work closely with developers, BAs, and product owners to clarify requirements and provide </p><p>early feedback.<br/><br/></p><p>- Report and track defects with clear reproduction steps, logs, and screenshots until closure.<br/><br/></p><p>- Apply mortgage domain knowledge to test scenarios for loan origination, servicing, payments, compliance, and default modules.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards in mortgage-related applications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform cross-browser testing and desktop compatibility testing for client-based applications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Drive defect prevention by identifying gaps in requirements and suggesting improvements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure best practices in test automation - modularization, reusability, and maintainability.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide daily/weekly status reports on testing progress, defect metrics, and automation coverage.<br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain documentation for automation frameworks, test cases, and domain-specific </p><p>scenarios.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experienced in working within Agile/Scrum development environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines with minimal supervision.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong team player with excellent multitasking skills, capable of managing multiple priorities </p><p>in a deadline-driven environment.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
