<p>About the job :<br/><br/> Job position : Python Automation Lead Technology and Sub-technology<br/><br/>- Test Automation<br/><br/>- Python Selenium framework<br/><br/> Base Location : Bangalore<br/><br/> Type : Hybrid<br/><br/>Qualifications :<br/><br/>- Bachelor of Engineering/ Masters in Computer Science (OR) any equivalent degree<br/><br/>- 6 - 8 years of experience<br/><br/>Job Overview :<br/><br/>- Strong automation tester who can automate tests, maintain framework, develop solutions & also technically mentor a small team<br/><br/>Primary Skills :<br/><br/>- Good experience & strong knowledge in Python programming with Object Oriented Programming methodologies<br/><br/>- Proven experience in communicating with clients and technically lead a small team<br/><br/>- Good experience & knowledge in web/mobile application UI automation & related tools/packages (like selenium/appium)<br/><br/>- Good exposure to different testing methodologies & QA exposure and any standard test framework (like pytest, unittest etc)<br/><br/>- Very good in analytical & logical thinking on different perspectives.
Ability to handle challenges & resolve blockers independently<br/><br/>- Self-driven, Accountability and ownership of problems to achieve team goals & ability to contribute independently<br/><br/>- Good team player & proactive in giving new ideas/suggestions/solutions & constructive analysis of team members ideas <br/><br/>- Hands on experience with different tools - Testing tool, Version Control systems (Git), Test Management Software, Bug Tracking software and CI tools (Jenkins etc.)<br/><br/>Good to have Skills :<br/><br/>- Knowledge on CI/CD & DevOps<br/><br/>Responsibilities and Duties :<br/><br/>- Lead a small team in Automation front with focus towards Quality of application<br/><br/>- Understand the application/domain end to end, take ownership of an application from a QA perspective and develop Test automation scripts<br/><br/>- Design, implement and maintain automation scripts with robust quality in a python based automated test framework<br/><br/>- Analyze automation execution failures in end to end CI/CD system, identify insights on software quality<br/><br/>- Build deeper understanding of product/application & proactively identify areas to improve quality of product through automation<br/><br/>- Proactively identify areas of improvement in automation, framework, tools continuously and develop new automation solutions<br/><br/>- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers & resolve blockers independently<br/><br/>- Ready to work with teams in US & attend nightly meetings <br/><br/>Keywords :<br/><br/>- Automation, Framework, Python, Selenium, Appium, Development, tests/ test scripts<br/><br/>- IMMEDIATE JOINERS ARE PREFERRED</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
