Job Descrip on – QA Lead (Electronics & Embedded Systems) About the Role We are seeking a QA Lead to drive the quality assurance process for our hardware and embedded products.
The QA Lead will be responsible for establishing robust test plans, ensuring thorough valida on of electronics and firmware, and se ng up a scalable tes ng infrastructure.
This role requires a strong background in electronics and embedded systems, combined with leadership skills to plan, execute, and manage end-to-end QA ac vi es.
Key Responsibili es QA Strategy & Planning o Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and valida on procedures aligned with product requirements.
o Define QA processes, methodologies, and best prac ces for embedded hardware and firmware tes ng.
o Establish quality metrics and repor ng mechanisms to ensure con nuous improvement.
Test Execu on & Infrastructure o Lead setup and management of tes ng infrastructure including oscilloscopes, digital mul meters (DMMs), programmable loads, current measurement instruments, power supplies etc.
o Define and Conduct func onal, regression, stress, and reliability tes ng on hardware and firmware.
o Drive automa on of test processes wherever possible.
Collabora on & Leadership o Work closely with hardware, firmware, and product engineering teams to understand design specifica ons and translate them into test requirements o Lead and mentor QA engineers in test execu on, troubleshoo ng, and documenta on.
o Act as the quality advocate ensuring products meet reliability and performance standards before release.
Problem Solving & Repor ng o Analyze test results, iden fy root causes of failures, and collaborate with design teams to resolve issues.
o Prepare QA reports and provide clear feedback to stakeholders.
o Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external cer fica ons (if applicable).
Skills & Qualifica ons Technical Skills Strong knowledge of electronics tes ng tools: oscilloscopes, DMMs, power analyzers, electronic loads, etc.
Familiarity with firmware and hardware design principles (MCUs, sensors, communica on protocols like UART, I2C, SPI, MQTT).
Experience in test case crea on, execu on, and defect tracking.
Ability to set up and maintain test infrastructure for embedded hardware valida on.
Hands-on knowledge of debugging embedded systems using tools like logic analyzers, JTAG/SWD debuggers, tracing tools or protocol analyzers.
Exposure to test automa on for hardware/firmware valida on (Python/Embedded test frameworks mandatory).

Effec ve communica on and collabora on across cross-func onal teams.
Experience 3+ years of QA experience in electronics/embedded systems CTC : 10 LPA Prior experience in IoT, embedded devices, or hardware product companies is a plus.
Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., EMI/EMC, safety, environmental) is desirable.
