- We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Lead to oversee the quality assurance efforts for our global digital platform.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality management, with the ability to lead a team in ensuring that all aspects of the platform meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. - This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to develop and execute comprehensive test strategies that ensure a seamless user experience across multiple devices and regions.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the QA strategy for the global digital platform, ensuring that it aligns with overall business goals and technical requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, covering functional, non-functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts, ensuring that automation is effectively integrated into the development process.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, identify risks, and ensure that testing is aligned with project timelines
- Lead the effort to identify, document, and track defects, working with the development team to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Oversee performance testing efforts to ensure that the platform can handle expected user loads and deliver a fast, responsive experience.
- Ensure that the platform meets quality standards across all regions, taking into account localization, accessibility, and different regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with the latest QA tools, methodologies, and best practices, continuously improving the QA process to meet evolving project needs.
- Establish and report on key quality metrics, providing visibility into the quality of the platform and identifying areas for improvement
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
A Master s degree is a plus. - Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with experience in both manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar, and experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and techniques.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Experience working on global or multi-regional platforms, with an understanding of localization, accessibility, and cross-cultural testing considerations.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and present ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
