<p><p><b>Role Overview : <br/></b><br/>We're hiring a Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong experience in ITSM, Service Catalog, and Service Portal development.<br/><br/>This is a senior-level position requiring leadership in architecture, design, and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions.<br/><br/>Ideal for candidates who enjoy solving real-world problems through automation, UX enhancements, and scalable platform architecture.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Act as the technical architect for ServiceNow implementations, guiding system design, integration approaches, and scalability decisions.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and architect custom solutions using the ServiceNow platform.<br/><br/><b>Develop And Configure : </b><br/><br/>- ITSM modules<br/><br/>- Service Catalog items<br/><br/>- Custom Portals (Service Portal/ESC)<br/><br/>- Chatbots and Virtual Agents<br/><br/>- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST, SOAP, APIs, and web services.<br/><br/>- Conduct performance tuning to ensure high availability and scalability of the ServiceNow environment.<br/><br/>- Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior developers and enforcing best practices in coding and design.<br/><br/>- Establish governance standards, reusable components, and architectural documentation.<br/><br/>- Stay current on ServiceNow updates, new modules, and industry trends to advise on platform improvements.<br/><br/><b>Requirements : </b><br/><br/>- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.<br/><br/>- 8+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, including architecture and solution design.<br/><br/><b>Expertise In : </b><br/><br/>- ITSM module configuration and customization<br/><br/>- Service Catalog & Service Portal development<br/><br/>- Virtual Agent/Chatbot setup<br/><br/>- Strong scripting experience with JavaScript, Glide, and Jelly.<br/><br/>- Proven experience with third-party system integrations via APIs/web services.<br/><br/>- Deep knowledge of platform optimization, performance tuning, and governance.<br/><br/>- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Certifications : </b><br/><br/>- Certified Application Developer (CAD)<br/><br/>- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)<br/><br/>- Certified System Administrator (CSA)<br/><br/>- Prior experience in technical leadership / mentorship roles<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
