<p><b>Job Title :</b> ServiceNow Developer - ITOM (Event Management)<br/><br/><b>Experience :</b> 5+ Years<br/><br/><b>Job Location :</b> Remote (India)<br/><br/><b>Job Type :</b> Full-Time<br/><br/><b>Job Summary :</b><br/><br/>We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong background in ITOM - Event Management.
The ideal candidate will have end-to-end implementation experience in Event Management, in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow scripting, and expertise in integrations.
This is a remote opportunity open to candidates located in India.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow ITOM Event Management solutions.<br/><br/>- Lead and execute end-to-end Event Management implementations, including connector configuration, alert management, and event rules.<br/><br/>- Develop and customize ServiceNow components using JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.<br/><br/>- Integrate ServiceNow with external monitoring and ITOM tools (e.g., SolarWinds, SCOM, Nagios, etc.) using REST/SOAP APIs.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather and analyze technical and business requirements.<br/><br/>- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across CMDB and Event Management processes.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Event Management and integrations.<br/><br/>- Adhere to coding, documentation, and development standards and best practices.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.<br/><br/>- Proven end-to-end implementation experience in ServiceNow ITOM - Event Management.<br/><br/>- Strong proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API).<br/><br/>- Solid experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party monitoring and infrastructure tools via REST, SOAP, and other standard protocols.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with related ITOM modules like Discovery, CMDB, and Orchestration is a plus.<br/><br/>- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.<br/><br/>- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working effectively with cross-functional teams.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
