Automation Engineer (Playwright / AWS / Healthcare Domain)  
Experience:  6–8 years overall | Location:  Remote | Type:  Full-time 
About the Role  
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer  with a strong background in building robust automated test frameworks and driving quality initiatives across modern web and API-based platforms.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright , along with a solid understanding of QA automation best practices.
Experience in AWS Cloud  and/or healthcare or messaging platforms  will be a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities  
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end test automation  using Playwright for web and API applications.
 
 
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth execution within DevOps workflows.
 
 
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA leads to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and automation coverage.
 
 
- Identify, document, and track defects; analyze root causes and contribute to continuous improvement.
 
 
- Implement scalable automation frameworks and reusable test components to optimize execution time and maintainability.
 
 
- Ensure automation scripts are stable, reliable, and provide meaningful reporting metrics.
 
 
- Work with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS ) for test environment setup, monitoring, and integration.
 
 
- Maintain awareness of healthcare data handling, security, and compliance best practices (e.g., HIPAA, PHI-safe testing).
 
 
Required Qualifications  
- 6–8 years  of overall software testing and automation experience.
 
 
- 2+ years  of hands-on Playwright  experience (TypeScript or JavaScript preferred).
 
 
- Strong expertise in test automation frameworks , API testing , and CI/CD integration  (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).
 
 
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.
 
 
- Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
 
 
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
 
 
Nice to Have  
- Experience working in AWS Cloud  environments (Lambda, ECS, CloudWatch, etc.).
 
 
- Domain experience in Healthcare , EHR systems , or messaging/communication platforms  (e.g., Twilio, Firebase, FHIR).
 
 
- Familiarity with performance and security testing practices.
 
 
- Exposure to Postman , K6 , or similar tools.

- Strong collaboration and communication skills across distributed teams.
 
 
- Self-starter with attention to detail and a drive for quality improvement.
 
 
- Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments with minimal supervision.
