<p><p><b>Description : </b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our POS (Android-based) systems, online ordering & payment terminal solutions, and web-based back office applications.<br/><br/>You will design and implement automated test frameworks, validate product stability, and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to deliver a seamless end-user experience.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for Android POS, web apps, and APIs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for mobile, web, and backend components.<br/><br/></p><p>- Validate payment workflows including card, Tap-to-Pay, and online payment gateway integrations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Conduct end-to-end testing for POS modules (billing, KDS, inventory sync, offline/online modes).<br/><br/></p><p>- Test web-based back office modules (reporting, configuration, analytics, user management).<br/><br/></p><p>- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution using Jira or similar tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work closely with developers during sprints to ensure CI/CD test automation integration.<br/><br/></p><p>- Generate detailed test reports and performance metrics.<br/><br/></p><p>- Continuously enhance automation coverage and improve testing efficiency.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Experience : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- 3+ years of experience in QA Automation, ideally in SaaS or POS domain.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with Android testing (POS terminals or kiosk apps).<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with REST API testing tools (Postman, Newman, RestAssured).<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with payment terminal testing and transaction validation<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in writing test scripts using Java, JavaScript, or Python.<br/><br/></p><p>- Understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket Pipelines.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend verification.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills<br/><br/><b>Nice to Have : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with cloud-based SaaS platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of KDS, kiosk, and QR ordering systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to performance and load testing using tools like JMeter or k6.<br/><br/></p><p>- ISTQB or similar QA certification.<br/><br/><b>Why Join Us : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Be part of a growing SaaS platform redefining retail, F&B, and hospitality tech.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work with a dynamic product suite covering POS, payments, online ordering, and automation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Opportunity to shape QA strategy and automation pipelines across the full product ecosystem.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
