<p><p><b>Key Responsibilities : </b></p><br/><p>- Design and Development : Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts and scenarios using Playwright, JavaScript, and TypeScript for web applications.</p><br/><p>- Framework Creation : Establish and maintain robust, scalable, and maintainable automation frameworks from scratch or by extending existing ones.</p><br/><p>- Integration : Integrate automated tests seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions to support continuous testing and deployment.</p><br/><p>- Execution and Analysis : Plan, execute, and monitor automated test suites, analyze results, and report on test coverage and quality metrics.</p><br/><p>- Maintenance and Debugging : Proactively maintain and update existing test scripts and frameworks.
Utilize strong debugging skills to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve complex test failures and environmental issues.</p><br/><p>- Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, developers, and other QA engineers in a cross-functional Agile environment to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.</p><br/><p>- Mentorship : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on automation best practices, tools, and techniques.</p><br/><p>- Process Improvement : Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies, tools, and processes.</p><br/><p><b>Required Qualifications : </b></p><br/><p>- Experience : Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance with a primary focus on automation testing.</p><br/><p>- Technical Proficiency : Expert-level proficiency in test automation using Playwright for end-to-end, functional, and API testing.</p><br/><p>- Programming Skills : Strong programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript.</p><br/><p>- Framework Expertise : Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining robust and reusable automation frameworks.</p><br/><p>- CI/CD : Hands-on experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions.</p><br/><p>- Debugging : Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills with the ability to efficiently isolate and resolve complex technical issues.</p><br/><p>- Methodology : Strong understanding of testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, Agile development principles, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).</p><br/><p>- Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</p><br/><p><b>Desired Skills (Bonus Points) : </b></p><br/><p>- Experience with other automation tools, particularly Selenium WebDriver.</p><br/><p>- Experience with performance testing, security testing, or mobile application testing.</p><br/><p>- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).</p><br/><p>- Experience with version control systems, especially Git.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
