<p><p><b>Job Title : </b> QA Automation Engineer- Python<br/><br/><b>Location : </b> Bangalore<br/><br/>We are looking for an experienced and highly talented QA Automation Engineer with expertise in both UI and API Responsibilities : </b></p><p><b><br/></b></p>- API Automation : Design, develop, and maintain test automation scripts for RESTful APIs using Python-based frameworks (e.g., pytest, requests, RestAssured).<br/><br/></p><p>- UI Automation : Develop and execute automated test cases for web applications using Python with Selenium, Playwright or other relevant frameworks.<br/><br/></p><p>- Test Design : Collaborate with developers and product managers to create test plans, test cases, and test data for both functional and non-functional requirements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Test Execution & Reporting : Execute automated tests, monitor test results, and report defects/issues using tools like JIRA or similar.<br/><br/></p><p>- Continuous Integration : Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable seamless and fast testing during development cycles.<br/><br/></p><p>- Bug Analysis and Troubleshooting : Investigate failures, analyze logs, and provide detailed reports for reproduction and resolution.<br/><br/></p><p>- Performance & Load Testing : If applicable, work with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust) to ensure application scalability and Skills and Qualifications : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Strong proficiency in Python programming.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with API testing and test automation frameworks (e.g., pytest, requests, RestAssured).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in developing Automation testing frameworks from scratch<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in UI automation using Selenium (or similar tools like Playwright, Cypress).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and HTTP protocols.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with version control systems such as Git.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working in an Agile environment.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of test case management tools like Azure Devops, Jira, or similar.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented COMPETENCIES : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Think big, and takes on big challenges - Essential</p><p><br/></p>- Develop the best people and teams - Desired<br/><br/></p><p>- Has impact and influence - Desired<br/><br/></p><p>- Executes with discipline - Essential<br/><br/></p><p>- Acts as an owner - Essential<br/><br/></p><p>- Leads by example - Essential<br/><br/></p><p>- You take full ownership of your projects & understand end to end expectations.<br/><br/></p><p>- You demonstrate thought leadership at work, assert ideas & influence overall direction of solutions.
