The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in automation frameworks, test data management, and integration testing with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.<br/><br/>This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts ensuring robust and efficient test coverage.<br/><br/></p><p>- Execute automation test suites, analyze results, and report defects.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to refine story designs, test plans, and code reviews.<br/><br/></p><p>- Automate integration and end-to-end tests using tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, and Test Bench.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform system integration testing and support continuous improvement of automation frameworks.<br/><br/></p><p>- Review unit test coverage and suggest enhancements for better quality assurance.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure adherence to Agile practices and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.<br/><br/><b>Must-Have Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Postman, Jenkins, Cucumber, Selenium (mandatory)<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber, JUnit, Mockito).<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of test design techniques and test data management.<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on with SQL queries and database-level testing.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with defect management and configuration management tools (e.g., CVS/SVN).<br/><br/><b>Good to Have :</b><br/><br/>- Experience in Web Applications, Microservices, and UI/Backend/DB level testing.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of SoapUI, Zephyr, Accessibility Testing (JAWS).<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Background in Engineering with strong analytical and communication skills.<br/><br/><b>Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Engineering.<br/><br/></p><p>- 45 years of proven experience in automation testing and QA processes.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
