<p><p>This position supports an IT organization with enterprise-wide responsibilities for the development, implementation and support of complex systems that conform to Floor & Decors systems standards and methodology.
In addition, the individual in this role will be engaged in developing and execution of exploratory and automated tests to optimize product deployments and enhance customer satisfaction.</p><br/><p><b>Minimum Eligibility Requirements :</b></p><br/><p>- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education based on one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)</p><br/><p>- 10+ years of software quality assurance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or mentoring capacity.</p><br/><p>- 5+ years doing hands on test automation experience.</p><br/><p>- Experience with JMeter or equivalent performance testing tools.</p><br/><p>- Ability to work on multiple projects at one time as they are in various stages of development and testing</p><br/><p>- Has led multiple and concurrent projects from a Quality Assurance and Automation perspective</p><br/><p>- Proven ability to analyze and articulate QA metrics such as percentage of testing completed, defect density and others</p><br/><p>- Proven business, infrastructure and support problem-solving skills</p><br/><p>- Proven ability to assess new testing effort requests for architecture and environment requirements, prerequisites and dependencies as well as overlap to other systems or integrations</p><br/><p>- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team coordination skills.</p><br/><p>- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment</p><br/><p>- Proven ability to provide mentorship for junior members of the QA team</p><br/><p><b>POSITION PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :</b></p><br/><p>- Develop and maintain robust automation test scripts using Selenium, APPIUM and Robot Framework.</p><br/><p>- Expert with keyword and data driven test automation using JAVA or Python.</p><br/><p>- Define and enforce automation coding standards and conduct code reviews for test automation.</p><br/><p>- Drive API testing, end-to-end (E2E) testing, functional, and regression testing strategies.</p><br/><p>- Experience with JMeter or equivalent performance testing tools.</p><br/><p>- Experience validating ETL/data jobs in Databricks and database testing using Oracle, MySQL tools.</p><br/><p>- Proficiency with version control systems like Git or SVN using tools like Github, Bitbucket.</p><br/><p>- Proficient in qTest, JIRA, and test lifecycle management in Agile environments.</p><br/><p>- Consistently demonstrate a thorough understanding of customer requirements and offer suggestions to improve user experience</p><br/><p>- Proficiency with Agile methodologies and participation in daily scrum and sprint planning meetings</p><br/><p>- Expert in writing test plans, test cases and providing status reports and summaries across multiple projects and stakeholders</p><br/><p>- Ability to quickly grasp and learn new tools and technologies as needed to complete job tasks</p><br/><p>- Understanding of AI technologies and practical applications of AI in QA, such as test suite optimization, failure prediction, or log-based triage.</p><br/><p>- Domain Familiarity in Salesforce (Sales/Service Cloud, Marketing cloud) and eCommerce platforms.</p><br/><p>- Experience in Mobile testing.</p><br/><p><b>Essential Functions :</b></p><br/><p>- Defines coding standards and automation frameworks</p><br/><p>- Consistently keeps abreast of industry trends and drives test automation approaches</p><br/><p>- Ensure QA standards are maintained by all QA team member by performing code reviews of automated test scripts</p><br/><p>- Drives test environment health from setup, maintenance to sunsetting</p><br/><p>- Mentors QA staff and end users on quality objectives and testing processes</p><br/><p>- Drives the planning, coordination and details of all projects for the QA group</p><br/><p>- Ability to communicate clearly and present complex information to users by translating technical information for non-technical stakeholders</p><br/><p>- Demonstrate expertise with testing tools, processes and standards and apply them effectively to projects.</p><br/><p>- Create, execute and maintain manual and automated test plans to ensure products meet the defined requirements for usability and performance</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
