<p><p><b>About the Role :</b><br/><br/></p><p>We are seeking experienced and proactive Quality Assurance professionals specializing in ETL and Web Testing to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi.<br/><br/></p><p>You will be responsible for validating data pipelines, web applications, APIs, and dashboards to ensure data accuracy, platform stability, and user experience.<br/><br/></p><p>This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a strong understanding of manual and automation testing, API testing, and experience in BI tools and ETL processes.<br/><br/></p><p>Prior exposure to healthcare systems and HL7 will be a significant plus.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Perform ETL testing and validate data flows between sources and targets (preferably using Informatica or similar tools).<br/><br/></p><p>- Conduct API testing using Postman, including validation of request/response structures, status codes, and payload data.<br/><br/></p><p>- Validate Power BI dashboards, checking for data integrity, filters, KPIs, and report logic accuracy.<br/><br/></p><p>- Execute web application testing, covering UI, functionality, browser compatibility, and responsive </p><p>design.<br/><br/></p><p>- Write and execute advanced SQL queries to verify data accuracy and transformation logic.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in test planning, test case design, execution, defect logging, and reporting.<br/><br/></p><p>- Document and maintain clear test artifacts in accordance with STLC standards.<br/><br/></p><p>- Lead QA efforts across web and data-related projects, mentoring junior analysts and coordinating test execution.<br/><br/></p><p>- Drive end-to-end quality assurance processes for ETL pipelines, APIs, dashboards, and UIs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Define and enforce QA best practices, test strategy, test plans, and regression suites.<br/><br/></p><p>- Oversee test reporting and QA metrics, including defect density, test coverage, and execution traceability.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to resolve defects and clarify business logic.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure traceability from requirements to test cases and test results.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Strong experience in ETL testing Informatica preferred; others like Talend or SSIS are acceptable.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficient in API testing using Postman and similar tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Advanced SQL skills for writing and debugging complex queries.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience validating Power BI dashboards or other BI reporting platforms.<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to manual and automation testing practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Sound knowledge of STLC, bug lifecycle, and QA documentation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
